Local Fruits for the Common Good

We believe that business success goes hand‑in‑hand with social responsibility. Through our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, Bali Food Industry is committed to supporting food security, farmer welfare and community nutrition. Each of our activities is aimed at showcasing the excellence of local fruits, improving the livelihoods of farmers and sharing love with those in need. Explore our concrete actions below.

Hand‑over of SAB 034 Avocado Seedlings to Farmers

As part of the Local Fruits Must Be Famous 2025 campaign, Bali Food Industry and the Agriculture, Food and Fisheries Department of Karangasem Regency distributed SAB 034 premium avocado seedlings to farmers in Tribuana Village. The Pura Lempuyang area was chosen because its agro‑climate suits this variety.
The programme provides both seedlings and technical guidance so farmers can sustainably produce high‑quality avocados. Funding comes from the company’s CSR budget, demonstrating our commitment to strengthening local food security and improving farmer welfare.

Impact: Hundreds of new avocado trees are expected to boost local fruit production over the next few years, creating additional income opportunities for farmers and reducing reliance on imported produce.

Distribution of Local Fruit Packages to Orphans

Ahead of the Galungan and Kuningan holidays, Bali Food Industry’s CSR programme delivered 100 packages of local fruits to orphans in Denpasar City. The event was facilitated by the Social Affairs Department with support from the head of Denpasar’s Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Ny. Sagung Antari Jaya Negara. Each package contained 5 kg of fresh fruits—dragon fruit, salak, oranges, crystal guava and jumbo pineapple—and was distributed directly to villages and neighbourhoods to ensure the aid reached the right recipients.
This programme has been running for three years and aims not only to meet the nutritional needs of orphans but also to introduce the quality of local fruits to the community. BFI’s CEO, Made Indra Dananjaya, emphasised that the initiative supports efforts to prevent stunting in Denpasar and encourages the public to love local fruits.

Impact: By distributing 100 fruit packages, hundreds of children received essential vitamins and minerals. The initiative also increased appreciation for Indonesia’s delicious and nutritious tropical fruits.
